I was employed by the University of Notre Dame Australia (UNDA) as a Web Consultant, focusing on front-end development and user experience.
My responsibility was to progress the front-end development of components in the Squiz Matrix 6 Content Management System. These components aimed to improve the website’s UX and make editing the content more accessible. External companies provided the designs, alongside development support.
I was also involved in creating the design system documentation. The process included testing these new components, assigning character limits for text, and defining the recommended image dimensions and file sizes. These details were provided to inform staff of best practices for using what was built.
